Welcome, I am Wanda Hammond a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York. I have been counseling individuals and groups for many years. Also I have years of experience of working with individuals who are experiencing mental health issues. I provide a safe space for clients to share their feelings openly.
In addition, I have received a master level counselor certification in alcohol and substance abuse in the state of New York. I am a graduate of Webster University with Masters of Arts in Counseling. Over the years, I have witness clients grow and live their lives to the fullest.
I utilized the following treatment methods; trauma informed therapy, motivational interviewing; cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I have experience with working with various ethic groups and adult populations. I work with adults. I am also able to do faith based counseling.
