I believe within each of us, we have the capacity to grow and experience life in fulfilling ways. No matter what circumstances, resilience in adversity can strengthen and allow us to live life with deeper appreciation and gratitude.
My passion for serving people stems from growing up with parents and grandparents who are active in serving their community. My parents’ home is often a place where many will visit and share a meal together. I have many years of working as a volunteer in various capacity. With my B.S degree in business, I have worked in multi-national corporations in Singapore, operated in a startup in Hong Kong and managed privately own business operations in China.
The most fulfilling part of my career is to help people grow, overcome hurdles, fulfill their dreams, and reach personal potentials. As a therapist, I am sensitive to various cultural nuances. I am skilled in helping clients balance work/life issues, dealing with multicultural complexities, as well as life transitions. Neurodiverse population like ADHD, Asperger, gifted families, and their challenges has a special place in my heart. I work collaboratively with clients to overcome anxiety, depression, and navigate through any work or relationship issues. I am influenced by psychodynamic practices, incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution focus therapy and evidence-based practices in my work.
