I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified personal and Business Coach with over 10 years of experience working with individuals, couples and groups. My passion is to help my clients to overcome difficult times in life, as well as to learn to deal with strong emotions such as fear, anxiety, sadness or guilt, and acquire the tools to move forward in their life without emotional suffering , feeling empowered to build better relationships and improve communication.
I help people suffering from Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, relationship or family issues, career challenges, or problems dealing with strong and difficult emotions. I've also helped many individuals feeling stuck in their lives, or are going through a difficult time such a divorce, move to a different state, or any other big change in life, to move forward and overcome the situation.
My Counseling style is warm, compassionate and respectful, yet direct and and focused on solutions and tools to deal with emotions and thoughts to move forward. In order to do that, I work with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness, among other approaches to tailor a treatment that help my clients meet their specific needs. I also use Coaching techniques to support the emotional therapy work, encouraging the application of new tools and the development of new and more productive habits.
It is normal to feel overwhelmed with some situations in life, to feel that we don't have the tools to go through them. or that we can't make our own decisions without fear, anger, anxiety or guilt.
