About

I hold a PHD in Counselor Education & Supervision from an accredited university. I am licensed in North Carolina, with 30 years of professional counseling experience (i.e., public school counseling and clinical mental health). Currently, I work in post-secondary education as well as in clinical counseling. I especially enjoy providing therapy for high school and college age students. However, I am also experienced and have extensive wisdom in serving couples and older adults with relationship or interpersonal issues related to stress, frustration, worry, anxiety, and mild depression. Treating everyone with respect, love, and compassion is my aim, as I strive to demonstrate the love of Christ in all I do. My prayer is that in employing a holistic approach (i.e., Biological, Psychological, Sociological, Spiritual ), I always see others through the same lens as Jesus saw them when he looked into the crowds, and let me always be ready, willing, and able to extend compassion and grace just as He did.
