Hello! I'm so glad you're here. My name is Virginia Leon, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado. I have over 15 years experience in the mental health field including as a Child and Family Therapist, Behavioral Health Professional in a pediatric clinic, an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant, and an Intake Clinician in an adolescent residential facility. I have a Master's in Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor's in Psychology and Spanish. I provide services in both English and Spanish. I hold a Certificate in Perinatal Mood Disorders, and enjoy working with mothers as they navigate the challenges of balancing motherhood and the rest of life. I enjoy working with women of all ages, through life transitions such as graduation, exploring relationships, motherhood and navigating family dynamics. I have specialized experience and training working with parents, as as a parent myself understand the many challenges of balancing work and family.
Although I have been trained in several therapeutic modalities, I would consider my approach to be eclectic and client centered. I believe that my client is the expert in her own life and I aim to help you shift perspective, discover your own strengths and unlock your true inner potential. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore areas of growth and change together.
