I am a mental health counselor licensed in New York with 8 years of experience working in a wide range of settings and helping people from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds achieve a better way of life. I work primarily with adults seeking help dealing with issues such as stress, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationships, health crises, and parenting challenges. In my practice, I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment based on empathy, understanding, and acceptance. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Over the course of therapy, we will process your past experiences and present-day struggles to help you better understand and accept yourself and let go of any maladaptive behaviors that have held you back or been damaging in some way. Together, we will work on developing more adaptive behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. I will help you to discover how to give your life new meaning and new goals and how to become a more authentic version of yourself. Unlocking this new sense of meaning will enable you to cope with your struggles in a more effective manner.
