As a therapist, I will meet you where you are. I believe you are the expert of your story. I will listen to what is on your mind, and together we can look at what might be holding you back from feeling like your whole, healthy, happier self. I am an LCSW with 17 years of experience working with adults of all ages, helping them to find recovery from depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation; and even from having new and unusual thoughts and behaviors. I have been described by patients as kind, helpful, warm, funny and insightful. My style is eclectic, and combines elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with psychodynamic therapy, and various other approaches as seem appropriate. Whether we work together or not -- as you take this step toward reaching out for help, remember to pat yourself on the back. It's a very big deal, and something which you can feel proud about.
