Hello! I am here to support you through your journey to healing. You have made the first step in your journey by having the courage to seek a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and becoming the person you are meant to be. Having started many years ago as a CNA has given me a unique perspective regards Family and the Health Care profession. It was here while working with patients exhibiting dementia, Alzheimer’s, and everything in between that I found my passion for helping people. I then focused on Developmentally Disabled adults. I found my time well spent working in a Psychiatric Hospital where I worked with a variety of patients.
I have 10 years of experience working with people struggling with mental illness. I specialize in children, family reunification, and trauma, mental illness, ADHD, reunification, adoption triad, couples, and parenting the difficult child. I use Theraplay and Trauma Play techniques which is a flexibly sequential play therapy model for treating traumatized children.
I believe in empowering people to overcome the difficulties in their lives. We all deserve to lead a happy and fulfilling life. My passion is in helping my clients to overcome whatever is keeping them from living their best life by bringing out the strength within them! I look forward to supporting you in your healing journey.
