Hello, my name is Veronica Barr, but please call me Casey, and I am a clinician who is passionate about helping individuals build stronger relationships and to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges that they are facing. When you are experiencing an overwhelming difficulty in life, having someone hold a safe space for these burdens can make a world of difference- life’s challenges are not meant to be faced alone! As a client-centered therapist, our relationship is the most essential part of therapy, and I will do everything to ensure that you are provided with a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space to begin this journey. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago.

I work with families, individuals and children. My professional experience includes nine years providing mental health services to families and children. I have clinical experience providing psychoanalytic therapy, as well as child-parent psychotherapy, working from an attachment model with a developmental approach. I work with families or individuals who are experiencing: grief and loss, family conflict, behavioral challenges, developmental delays, autism, depression, anxiety, and pregnancy or postpartum depression.

As a therapist I am dynamic in my work, as each client presents with their own unique needs. My goal is to know you for who you really are and to help uncover the obstacles blocking your life’s path. Let’s talk today and see if I am the right therapist for you.
