My name is Vera Jordan Bellamy. I am a Licensed Psychotherapist, Educator, Linguist, and Meditation teacher in Delray Beach, Florida. I love helping people understand themselves, love themselves and become hopeful again. A joyful spirit creates a joyful world. I hold a Master’s degree in French from UC Berkeley, Berkeley, California, and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Additionally, I am certified in spiritual coaching from the Academy of Intuition Medicine, Sausalito, California. My areas of interest are humanistic and psychodynamic psychotherapies, mind-body-spirit medicine, transformation and personal development, mindfulness, interpersonal relationships, and spirituality. In my work with clients, I apply targeted interventions from a plethora of counseling theories to help clients address mental health issues, and heal from psychological wounds and patterns. I’ve lived in three different countries – The United States, France, and Bulgaria, and I understand the challenges and the richness of cultural diversity. I became interested in psychotherapy as a student of philosophy and French literature. I personally know how wonderful life can become when we commit to change, personal growth, and transformation. It is my wish to help others reconnect with the joy of their mind, body and spirit, and to achieve good mental health. Years of personal development have allowed me to grow into an expert and to help people discover the powerful light of their spirit, the strength of their character, their innate wisdom, and intelligence. I believe that when people commit to healing, their beautiful self emerges, impacting their lives, their communities, and the planet. In my spare time, I like to read, dance, write, travel, connect with people, and exercise. I have a curious mind which never stops being moved by the beauty and exquisiteness of life on this planet.
