About
Venée K. Kimpson, LCSW-R, BCPCC, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in compassionate Christian professional counseling for individuals, couples and families. Venée’s therapeutic approach is to blend sound biblical guidance with a psychodynamic approach that emphasizes cognitive behavioral therapy. She helps her clients raise their self-awareness regarding talents, abilities, gifts, and how they can exercise faith to achieve personal and professional goals.
Venée obtained her bachelor’s degree in business management from Fordham Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY. She has a master’s degree in social work from Fordham University, New York. While at Fordham University, Venée realized that social work was her calling. The rest is history.
Prior to establishing a faith-based private practice, Venée held roles at non-profit, social service and for-profit settings. While working in the financial arena, she simultaneously served as the volunteer director of a Children’s Ministry. She enjoyed this role on a volunteer basis far more
than her lucrative job.
Venée is passionate about serving others and has participated in several overseas missions for underprivileged children and families in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, West Indies. She is an active member of Bethel Gospel Assembly, Inc., New York.
