Hey there! My name is Vatana Alcantar, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I am currently working as a full time school counselor and have recently decided to utilize my licensure to also help support the mental health concerns of today. I have received training on topics such as substance abuse, eating disorders, self-harming behaviors, being trauma informed, the art of self-care, responding to grief, and reducing anxiety during COVID. I am very open to working with all clients seeking support for varying concerns in order to best explore the mental health field. I am excited to spend some time with you and helping you along your journey to better mental health!
