Vanouche is a dual-degreed mental health professional (Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy). She has experience in education, health and social services along with individual, family and group interventions. Vanouche has experience working with children from the foster care system as a case manager, to the school system, as a substitute teacher and now providing therapeutic services to children and families. Vanouche strives to help children and their families adapt to changes in family dynamics. She has experience working with children with problematic sexual behaviors, trauma and loss, and girls who have and are at risk for human trafficking. Vanouche has also worked in partnership with M-DCPS Family Support Services and the Parent Helping Parents Program, to translate and present on “Keeping Our Children Safe”. She specializes in Academic Life, Anxiety, Family, Multicultural Issues, Childhood Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB), Relationships, Stress, Teen Group, and Trauma. Vanouche is dedicated to helping children and adults find their voice and move forward from generational trauma while dealing with the shifts in family dynamics. She is an aspiring licensed clinician who looks to continue working with the community at large. Vanouche speaks Haitian-Creole as a second language.
