I am a professional and empathetic Licensed Clinical Social Worker and hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Texas A&M University at Commerce in 2006 and my undergraduate degree from Baylor University in 1999. I hope and pray to help you find your path and space in this life. I want you to feel empowered to be well, encouraged to fight for your hopes and dreams, and strong enough to accept healing from your past. Sometimes we need a guide, a facilitator, a confidant to help us through the most challenging times of our lives. I look forward to working together on your journey. I hope you find light, laughter, and strength along the way. Growing up an Army brat in Killeen has increased my understanding of the uniqueness of military life and cultural diversity. My 23-year career has influenced her work in racial trauma, PTSD, LBGQT issues, chemical dependency, anxiety, depression, child-parent conflicts, mental disorders, adjustment issues, and abuse. I utilize various techniques from mindfulness, meditation, thinking through thought distortions, and prayer for faith-based clients. She works well with individuals, couples, and families to navigate challenging times by identifying strengths and tools that work best for each.
