My name is Vanetta Laret and I am a California based Marriage and Family Therapist with over ten years of experience working with clients who cope with a range of mental health issues: depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, grief and loss, woman's issues, adjustment disorder, trauma and crisis work. I work with clients in person and in addition have over two years experience working with clients through the use of Telehealth/Telemedicine. My clients have ranged in age from five to seventy years old.
My approach to therapy is person centered and is an eclectic style that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, psychodynamic, and Solution Focused Therapy.
I believe that every client has their own inate strengths and power to make progress in therapy and to meet their goals.
I treat my clients with warmth and respect as well as unconditional positive regard which means that my clients are accepted for who they are without judgement.Each session is tailored to meet the needs of the client.
