Hi! My name is Vanessa. I believe that seeking support is one of the most valuable decisions you can make for yourself- whether you’re searching for guidance during a transitional period in your life, help with managing the challenging symptoms of mental illness, or a safe space to process thoughts and emotions without judgment. By utilizing a strengths-based and solution-focused approach, the treatment I provide is structured around the specific needs of my clients with an emphasis on self-care and mindfulness.

My therapy style is interactive and compassionate, and my biggest priorities are to help you feel seen, understood, and supported. I have a master’s degree from Hunter College and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. For close to a decade I’ve gained experience working with adolescents, teens, families, couples and adults in a variety of settings: home-based, schools, residential treatment centers, and private practice. Areas of specialty include management of stress, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, self-identity development, parenting challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, and abuse.
