I am licensed in Florida with 6 years of Private Practice work experience. My journey in theapy began by collaborating with School Counselors as a Special Education Teacher. This was so intriguing to me; I went back to school and became one! God blessed me with 20-plus years of experience in the field of education and I am so grateful.

In that time, my husband and I have had two daughters, and one angel baby. Having a baby at 40 years young, has its own share of adventures! The lessons I learned are priceless, but it would have been supportive to have had a Perinatal or Maternal Mental Health Counselor there to guide us. Which is why I am passionate about this area of therapy and have recently been trained in it.

I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, & coping with grief and loss. I also have experience working with coping with life changes. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in this journey toward mental health wellness!
