With 20 years of mental health experience, I have worked with those with complex disorders as well as those with more commonly experienced disorders. I have served children and adults, including the geriatric population; helping all to find a sense of solace and hope where it has been loss. I subscribe to an eclectic approach in therapy, incorporating various therapeutic modalities that best suit the need of each client. In addition, I support the use of an integrated healthcare model in practice in efforts of treating every person as a whole.

I hold a Ph.D. in General Psychology and a Master's in Social Work. I practice in the state of North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I earned a Master’s in Social Work in 2006 from Adelphi University in Garden City, N.Y. I earned a Ph.D., with a research focus in spirituality, in 2016 from Capella University, Minneapolis, M.N. With the combined use of evidence-based mental health practice and one’s spirituality, I am able to help those clients who wish to gain a better understanding of the relationship between spirituality and mental well-being.
