There are many things that can contribute to the stressors of life. Our mental health and overall sense of well-being are incredibly important to how we deal with this stress. For some people there are very clear mental health issues such as symptoms of anxiety, depression, or other mood issues that have caused problems for them. For other people there may not be identifiable mental health issues, rather a general sense that something in life is not going right, or something needs to change. I operate mostly from a psychodynamic background where I utilize insight oriented therapy to help people uncover the underlying issues that may be causing them distress. By providing a safe and accepting environment I help people gain greater understanding of who they are and how to overcome the issues that they hope to work on.
