As a mental health counselor, my goal is to help my clients thrive by identifying their strengths, behaviors, and mindset when faced with adversity and challenges that may arise in the client’s life. I describe myself as a counselor well versed in working with client’s from different cultural backgrounds and developing a deep understanding of cultural norms which has opened up my passion and specialization in working with LGBTQ adults and teens struggling with LGBTQ related and non-related issues. I also enjoy and specialize in working with couples looking to strengthen their relationship through therapy. My previous experience as a counselor has provided me with the skills to work with individuals who may be experiencing but not limited to symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, interpersonal relationships, work-life balance, and more. I am excited to help you grow as a person and provide you with the tools and support needed to work through whatever obstacles you may be facing.
