About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Louisiana and Virginia. I have worked with dual diagnosis, children, behavioral health, provided preliminary clinical diagnosis, group therapy, individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy. I am also a veteran who has had the opportunities of meeting many people with diverse backgrounds.

I see the counseling relationship as a process, in which, the main focus consists of establishing a rapport and a relationship between the patient/recipient and the counselor, developing a sense of trust and understanding, working together to realize and identify present difficulties, develop constructive coping strategies for healthier living, and work in implementing effective coping strategies in order for patient/recipient to live to their fullest potential.
