In an ever-changing world, we are often personally challenged by experiences that question our fundamental ability to manage our daily lives. I create a climate, utilizing various approaches such as wellness, family systems, behavioral, and sex therapy. The goal is to assist you from your cultural perspective in understanding and coping with who you are in all aspects of your life
I earned my Ph.D. in Counseling from the University of Iowa with a specialization in marriage and family counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Sex Therapist (CST), and Divorce/Domestic Mediator. Over my thirty-year career I have worked as a professor in higher education, training counseling students at several universities. In addition to being a professor, I have worked in private practice, counseling clients with various issues from a cultural and diverse perspective. I am able to discuss personal issues presented in counseling, educate about sexuality, family issues, and mediate relationship problems. I would like to work with you. I invite you to join me.
