I view people in a holistic way - when one or more areas of a person's life are not functioning well, the whole person is affected. In a non-judgmental and safe setting, I will teach you mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral techniques to help you in resolving issues and facilitate healing. You can become a positive, healthy person with good life management skills. As a licensed counselor, I am committed to supporting you on this journey of discovery and healing each step of the way.
I graduated in 1996 from Florida State University with MS & EdS degrees in Counseling, certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a BS in Special Education from the College of Charleston. For 25 years, I've been working with adults, adolescents, couples and children in private practice, hospitalization, community, education, and consultation settings.
