About

I am a licensed mental health therapist and PhD who has worked with families, teens, children, couples and individuals for over 25 years. I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, therapeutic agencies, private practice, as a crisis therapist, at a school for autism and with gang involved youth. In addition to my counseling degree, I am also certified in hypnotherapy and Gestalt therapy. I have taken classes in DBT and EMDR. I am also a registered addiction specialist in the state of Florida where I ran a 5 star rated outpatient addiction program. I double majored in graduate school in counseling and art therapy. I provide a holistic approach to counseling as it is important to address the mind, body, spirit connection as well as meet the client's needs in the best way possible. I am very client centered so insure the person gets the highest quality of care in a way that helps them receive the best possible results in a safe and accepting therapeutic relationship. I want to help facilitate clients to be their best possible self through having a vision of how they want their life to be and releasing those things that block their empowerment and happiness.
