*Note: I am currently only accepting insurance in Texas. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the District of Columbia, the state of Texas as well as the state of Maryland. I have 20 years of experience working with people who want help with making changes in their lives. I have had the opportunity to work with teens, families, as well as adults with varying issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, parenting concerns and everyday life changing situations. My counseling style is interactive, client-based and solution focused. It is my belief that listening is the key to success in a therapeutic relationship and every client that I work with will feel heard. Being treated with respect and compassion are also the tenets that I abide by as we work together. My approach combines strengths therapy, cognitive-behavior therapy, motivational interviewing and solution-focused therapy to ensure that the highest level of outcome is achieved as outlined by a treatment plan that will be tailored to your needs.
