I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University and I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor in Maryland. I have over a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of treatment settings. I’ve worked with individuals in their homes and schools who are at high risk for school failure, placements, or hospitalization. I have assisted individuals and families resolve personal and environmental problems which prevent them from achieving their highest level of psychosocial functioning. I’m well-versed in several counseling techniques, including but not limited to psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, REBT, and mindfulness interventions. I have experience working with a wide range of diagnosis, with an emphasis in treatment of anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I have a compassionate approachable demeanor and take a client-centered approach. I am dedicated to my clients and care greatly for their growth and desired change. Therapy does not have to be intimidating or anxiety-provoking. It can instead be an interactive, thought-provoking, learning experience.
