When people look for a therapist, they want to feel a connection that is solid and supportive. I can provide this. My style is empowering. I help you find your strength within, and cultivate skills that enable you to get through to the next level in your life pursuits.
Although I am trained and skilled in a range of therapy approaches, I believe the dynamics of the relationship we build is therapeutic in itself. My gifts are insight and compassion; you are sure to feel these when we work together.
I have abundant experience with a wide range of people and problems, as I have been a psychotherapist in various capacities for roughly 30 years. I have had my own ups and downs in life, so I operate from experience - my own and that of the people I have served - more than theory. I am professional, yet tend not to take myself too seriously. I can usually find humor and lightheartedness in most human situations; with certainty, I can at least take you past the pain to better functioning and greater satisfaction in life.

I work mostly with individual adults and couples for therapy. I have worked in management, administration, education, business, human resources, medical settings, and consulting. I am also a writer, and have written articles, books, screenplays, short stories and poetry.
