Hello! Welcome to the Find A Therapist Community! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 4 years of experience working as a therapist. I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Master in Social Work. I am passionate about supporting people in accomplishing their goals and finding solutions to the challenges they may be facing. Throughout my experience, I have worked with adult individuals, couples, and families that are experiencing a variety of different problems. I have worked with those struggling with various addictions, mental health diagnoses, physical health conditions, trauma, and varying life problems.

I view the therapeutic relationship as the most important aspect of counseling. We will work together as a team and you are the expert of your own unique, life experiences. Former clients have mentioned to me in the past that when working with me, they feel understood and don't feel judged. I treat each individual with respect, compassion, and acceptance. I take an empathetic and patient approach when working with my clients. Everyone's problems are different and my counseling style will be tailored to fit your individual needs to progress through your identified treatment goals. I will spend time asking you questions to get to know you better and to improve my understanding of your own personal experiences. This information is important in building the therapeutic relationship and to discuss your goals for counseling. I may assign "homework" in-between our sessions to reinforce skills or topics of our conversations. These homework assignments may include techniques to practice, completing worksheets, or thinking and writing exercises.
