Tracey Szakacs is a licensed professional counselor offering services to children, adolescents and adults. She has extensive experience with individual, family and group therapy and clinical interests in Autism Spectrum Disorders, Divorce, Family Therapy, Gender Identity, LGBT Issues, Marriage and Relationship Issues, Schizoaffective Disorders and Sex Therapy. In her practice, Tracey believes that if you treat patients and their family members with respect and dignity, treatment becomes much more beneficial. She also believes that when treating these patients one should always consider the least restrictive type of care. For Tracey, psychology and counseling was all she ever wanted to do. She has provided counseling services to students within school districts and online practice, couples and families within private practice and individuals in crisis within the acute care setting. This experience has allowed her to see virtually every aspect of the mental health field including all of its subpopulations. In her free time, Tracey volunteers weekly at a horse rescue group. She is also a global traveler! In the past she traveled to a different country every year.
