I remember making that first call to a counselor many years ago and feeling helpless on where to start and who to work with. It is one of the reasons I am a counselor today. It was difficult finding the right fit for me. Please shop around until you find the one who has the right rapport and one you can build trust with.

I have worked in a myriad of therapeutic settings and it is almost impossible for me to choose a favorite but one thing I know for a surety is I enjoy the one on one interaction the most. I love to hear peoples' stories and their life experiences that make their journey unique. I love to be that person that can provide support, nurturing and the tools to get people who are struggling with life to a better, healthier place. I love people.

My degree was earned at the University of Utah in 2010. Even my undergrad was that of a behavioral health discipline. Counseling I believe is my life calling. My preferred modalities of therapeutic models are CBT, DBT, EFT,ACT, Solution-focused and MI. I think you are brave for seeking help.
