I am a native New Yorker, a lover of stories, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. As a graduate of Columbia University’s Counseling Masters program, I use my education and experience to assess the needs and goals of each client to tailor an approach that is effective and comfortable for each individual. I utilize a client-centered approach to ensure that each individual feels secure and can take full advantage of the journey of therapy. I encourage mindfulness and remaining present in the here-and-now, while finding value within the past and the insight it can offer into the present.
After working for over four years in substance abuse treatment facilities, I have extensive experience assisting individuals who not only have substance use disorders, but who also struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD, identity development, self esteem issues, relationship struggles and so more. I am a fangirl of growth, change, and personal achievements where the only competition is your former self. I would be honored to assist you in your own quest toward your best self.
