Hi! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of South Carolina. I am also a certified Health Coach and Life Coach. I have six years of experience as a practicing therapist working in private and public agencies, as well as, hospitals. I have a great deal of experience working with those who are coping with depression, stress and anxiety, grief and loss, and parenting issues. Relationship problems, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, sleeping disorders, anger management, career difficulties, and coping with addiction are also specialties of mine. I am a mother of four children, two of which were adopted, and the wife of a career serviceman. I personally know the unique challenges of military life and have received extensive training in this area. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and visiting new places. I love animals and have two dogs and three cats!

My counseling style is warm, genuine and collaborative. I believe in treating others in the same manner in which I would like to be treated. I meet clients where they are in life and work from that place. I feel honored when someone shares their personal struggles with me and in turn treat them with the utmost respect. I work very hard to be open-minded and non-judgmental. My approach combines evidence -based cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and family systems therapies. We will work together to create a treatment plan that meets your individual needs and goals.
