My name is Toni Kirby and I graduated from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work. I have been a licensed independent clinical social worker in Massachusetts since 1988 and in that time, I have worked with clients having a wide range of presenting problems, including anxiety, depression and grief and loss. I primarily use a psychodynamic approach to therapy (understanding feelings and behavior in the context of our lifelong experiences) as well as a CBT approach (looking at how thinking impacts feelings and behavior). I have a collaborative approach to therapy and will look to you to participate in treatment decisions. I would like to help you clarify your concerns and worries and we will develop goals together that we will evaluate regularly. I see myself as a partner on your journey of self-discovery, understanding and increased mental health. I look forward to the opportunity to speak with you!
