Hi! My Name is Tiona Washington, I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor with collectively over 20 years of counseling and clinical experience working as a counselor/therapist in various genres of the field . I have a vast array of experience, covering a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, PTSD, anger management, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, ADHD and much more. I also have an extensive background working with individuals who have experienced or suffered from physical/sexual trauma and/or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is best described as warm, energetic and very eclectic. It is also a combination of empathy and authenticity as I am a firm believer of meeting people where they are. My unique approach , combines cognitive-behavioral, realistic, humanistic, psychodynamic, brief solution focused and client centered counseling approaches, among many others utilized when deemed appropriate to meet your unique needs.

I work directly along side you to provide support, encouragement and guidance, together we develop a specifically tailored individual treatment plan to meet your unique, diverse and specific needs, as well as your desired goals and outcomes.
