Hello
My name is Dr. Tina Borke. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Texas. I am a certified brain injury specialist. I have worked in the mental health field for 18 years and in the medical field for 26 years. I have served children, adolescents, adults, families and couples in a variety of setting including counseling centers, brain injury facilities, nursing homes and private practice. I work with individuals who have experienced brain injury, trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, mood disorders, family and marriage problems.

I began my career at the University of Missouri-Kansas City where I obtained my bachelor's in psychology and sociology. I completed a Master in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Rockies in Colorado Springs. Then I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialty in Neuropsychology at the University of the Rockies in Colorado Springs. I completed my internship and post doc at a brain injury facility in Tyler, Texas. I am a brain injury specialist through the Brain Injury Association of America.

My goal in therapy would be to assist clients to reach their fullest potential, help them regain their lives and instill hope for a bright future. I have an eclectic approach to therapy which includes a wide range of techniques to assist you in meeting your goals. My methods include but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Client Center and Brief therapy. I believe therapy should be a partnership between the client(s) and the the therapist. Each working to improve the live (s) of the client (s) to find healing, support, and growth through counseling.
