About

My clinical career began in 2010 working as a field guide in wilderness therapy in Utah, providing services for adolescents and emerging adults experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. In 2014, I moved to Chicago to attend graduate school. I earned an MA in Clinical Psychology and a post-graduate certificate in Mindfulness in Psychotherapy. I completed some doctoral work, intending to focus on mindfulness-based interventions, but went a different direction and moved to Western North Carolina in 2017. Currently, I am working at a residential co-occurring, substance use and mental health, treatment program. My clinical work has includes specialized services for emerging adults and also for major professionals (medicine, law, etc.). My recent interests have included a focus on leadership techniques, styles and application, as well as ethics, philosophy and spirituality. I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS), and a Clinical Supervisor Intern (CSI) licensed in the state of North Carolina.

My counseling style is caring and collaborative. My approach combines contemplative, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and dialectic counseling techniques. I will individualize our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
