I think I can help relieve the pressure through support and empowerment as we begin the process together. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 11 plus years of experience working with adult men and women. My counseling approach involves but are not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Strengths- Based and Empowerment Approaches, as well as Psychodynamic Therapy. The core of my experience has been working with individuals with substance use disorders, chronic illness such as HIV/AIDS, and trauma. Some other tools I possess are completed training and consultation in Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy, status disclosure, and relaxation methods. I received my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Memphis and master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
