Hi! I'm so glad you are here. I see myself as a partner in your wellness journey. I believe my clients have an intuitive wisdom they are often underutilizing. My job is to help my clients remove barriers, so they can reconnect with that sacred wisdom. My approach combines evidenced-based approaches to therapy, like mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy with warmth, humility, and dignity.
I have a master’s degree in social work from The University of South Carolina. I also have a master’s degree in health education and promotion from The University of Alabama. I like to use a holistic approach to my work as a therapist because our minds, bodies, and spirits are connected. I’ve been working as a social worker and therapist for over 15 years, focusing mostly on anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, aging, mind/body connection, and relationship issues. I also enjoy working with women who are experiencing imposter syndrome.
