Hello and welcome to Find A Therapist! My name is Tiffany Norton and I am a licensed clinical social worker in California. I have worked in the mental health field for the last 14 years doing individual and family therapy, and coaching with many different populations. I have worked with clients who have experienced severe trauma, parents struggling to manage their children's difficult and/or dangerous behavior, couples in varying stages of their relationship, divorce, custody issues and family court related issues. I have also worked in a hospital setting and have counseled families during difficult times of grief and mourning. My approach in therapy is a combination of client-centered, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral and family systems modalities. I believe that in order to be successful in therapy, the relationship needs to feel safe and secure. I will always strive to maintain a safe space for you, where you feel comfortable being you truest self. My intention is to be sensitive to your needs and will work to support you in any way that I can.
