About
Although I have experience in psychiatric hospitals, governmental agencies (Child Welfare), community-based mental health, substance use/mental health private practices, as well as traditional outpatient settings; my ideal client is someone who identifies with any of the following: LGBTQIA+, teens, & emerging/mid-aged adult women experiencing anxiety, grief, and trauma. I love working with these clients because Ive been there. I work best with people who are tired of being unhappy, who are ready to change. I CAN NOT CHANGE YOU, ONLY YOU CAN DO THAT. I am happy to assist you with your journey. I am not your sit & nod therapist. I will utilize laughter, while also holding you accountable. I am laid back, transparent, and direct. I am not afraid to talk to you about anything that comes to mind. I practice from an empowerment lens and assist my clients in identifying their voice in a world full of chaos. I have experience in a variety of settings. I strongly believe in social justice and grassroots movements. I also encourage allyship & self-reflection in my work. I work well with people advocating both in & outside of my practice. I encourage self-care and having a balance. I WILL CHALLENGE YOU to explore your voice in other ways. Healing truly looks different for everyone! I hope to hear from you soon.
