Hi there! My name is Tia Utzinger and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Bozeman, Montana. I earned my masters degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1997 and have had my clinical license in Montana since 2001. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of individuals and families ranging in age from 3-100 with issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, OCD, personality disorders, divorce and relationship issues, parenting difficulties, addictions, trauma and PTSD, and end of life therapy. It has been both a pleasure and honor to watch clients learn ways to adapt to life's many challenges and be part of the support system.

My approach to treatment includes a multifaceted approach that pulls on various theoretical approaches and is focused on evidenced based practice. This would include cognitive behavioral intervention, solution focused, goal oriented, client centered approach, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and exposure therapy. I have additional training in trauma including EMDR and Forward Focused Treatment.
