Graduated at Marymount University with a Masters in School Counseling. Tanisha is currently a LicensedCounselor working with children and families, along with adolescents, at-risk populations, teens, and young adults. Tanisha provides a welcoming environment with an empathic approach to meeting clients where they are. Tanisha believes in the therapeutic relationship and creates a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients can learn, grow, and achieve goals through the approaches of play therapy, reality therapy, solution-focused, CBT, positive psychology, family therapy, behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based interventions. Tanisha has interest in intellectual disabilities, depression, anxiety, trauma, family conflict, child-parent relationship, anger, conduct disorders, gender identity, relationship concerns, and grief. I specialize in working with children and their families, adolescents, teens, and young adults. I provide a welcoming environment with guinness, caring, empathy in a reality approach. I pride myself on my ability to enhance the therapeutic relationship while meeting clients were they are.
