I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working in California and providing individuals and couples the safe haven they need to foster positive changes in their lives. I specialize in working with clients facing depression, anxiety, communication problems, relational conflict, cultural concerns, low self-esteem, and sexual orientation, and gender identity issues. I also offer sessions in Vietnamese for clients seeking a Vietnamese-speaking therapist. I join with my clients and empower them to develop self-compassion and inner strength in creating their preferred lives. I come from a strengths-based approach and offer warmth, acceptance, and humor in my work with clients. I have experience using the following modalities with clients: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, Client/Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing.
