I am licensed in Massachusetts with 11 years of professional work experience, mostly in an outpatient setting. I have worked with clients individually and in therapy groups. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, motivation, self esteem, and confidence, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I am proud of you for getting started! I believe I have the expertise and experience needed to help give you some helpful guidance on your journey through life. A good rapport is important in the therapeutic relationship. To tell you more about myself and what I do for self-care, I love music, all sorts of genres. I have eclectic tastes. I appreciate music even more when it is live. I play the drums. I also value humor which can be helpful when included in therapy and interventions. I enjoy humor in general but in particular, stand-up comedy. My self-care not only includes music and comedy, but also meditation, exercise and video games. I love reading and learning. Now enough about me, I look forward to hearing more about you.
