Do you feel like you are constantly taking care of everyone else's needs while neglecting your own? Do you feel like your family blames you for their problems while you are trying to please everyone and do damage control? Are you stressed out and anxious trying to make sense of it all? Maybe this sounds like something you are dealing with. My clients often feel like they are alone and that it is all on them to make everyone happy and keep the peace. They feel like they don't get much compassion, support, respect or understanding. They are often accused of being the "problem" and feel misunderstood. They are feeling frustrated with a difficult spouse, ex-spouse, child, parent, friend, or co-worker. There is hope. I help my patients to find clarity about the situations, develop boundaries if needed, find strategies to maintain and improve relationships if possible. I help them to take a step back and really look at what is going on in the relationship/situation. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with 30 years of counseling experience. As a therapist, I am focused on helping my patients find the clarity and support that they need to grow and manage the difficult situations and people in their lives. Some of my specialties include: Anxiety and depression; coping with break-ups and divorce; healing from past trauma and abuse; helping to manage difficult relationships (including family, parenting, school, work & love relationships).
