I believe that each of us has the desire and ability to grow, learn and make desired change. As a therapist, I will come along side you, meet you where you're at, and help you step into your power. I'm a strong believer that wellness can be obtained through understanding self, accepting self, and nurturing positive relationships.
I take a whole-person approach to counseling by helping you to nurture the physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual parts of self . I promote growth by offering a safe, accepting atmosphere so that you feel heard, validated, and empowered. Prior to becoming a professional counselor, I was a school counselor and educator for 25 years. I have a passion for art and the great outdoors. I draw on my professional and rich personal life experience when I work with people today. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Oregon.
