I have been in therapy practice for over 20 years and received my master's at California State University Long Beach. I became a licensed clinical social worker in 2009 and have been privileged to work with people from various age groups, socioeconomic statuses, cultures, ethnicities, and abilities. Adversity and loss have been one of my best teachers and have made me the therapist that I am today. I have extensive experience working with adults, children, and adolescents to provide individual therapy and crisis management. I have also had over ten years of providing onsite emotional support and psychological first aid to employees during the aftermath of a traumatic event. I have provided consulting and post-incident intervention services to various organizations, including HBO, Nickelodeon, American Apparel, Los Angeles Unified School District, Department of Public Social Services, Department of Children and Family Services, Glendale Police Department, and Los Angeles Police Department. I am currently working in Los Angeles County jail as a licensed clinical social worker and am providing consultation and post-incident interventions to several private agencies.
