About
***Please Note: Thea Vondracek is a provider within Headway’s provider network. After booking your appointment you will receive an email from Headway with instructions to setup your Headway patient account. You will need to complete this setup in order to confirm your appointment.*** What should your client know about you? Through my work with adults as individuals or as part of a couple, I promote personal strength, intentionality, and kindness. I work with you to help you develop and maintain positive relationships with yourself and the important people in your life. You can benefit from understanding what motivates behavior choices and interferes with communication and understanding. What is your approach to therapy? The most important step in the therapy process is to create an effective therapeutic relationship in which each person feels heard, respected, and understood. This approach is based in the concepts of Person-Centered Practices. Each client is provided with personalized interventions from the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing or other theories of change and tailored to each of my clients' individual needs to help attain personal growth. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? My goal is that you take some idea from the session that improves the quality of your life and your relationships with others. The ideas might be about how you think about certain experiences, techniques to reduce worry and increase happiness, or how you choose to communicate with others.
