Welcome to my profile, and congratulations on taking a massive step toward wellness. I have had over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. And during that time, I have worked with a wide variety of clientele, including chronically mentally ill, adolescent, geriatric, and forensic populations. Having been in private practice since 2006, I now focus on providing individual therapy for adults who feel that they have come across life stressors that they are having a hard time overcoming on their own. I believe that each individual has unique and essential strengths. Carl Rogers’ principles richly inform my practice of genuineness and acceptance. I also rely heavily on cognitive-behavioral techniques in teaching clients to examine and challenge their thought processes. I look forward to meeting you and achieving your goals together.
