Hi, my name is Terron Gaiter, and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. I approach therapy from a practical perspective where I am a realist. I am empathetic and nonjudgmental, but I do challenge my clients to push themselves outside of therapy in order to reach their goals. I work from a strengths perspective framework and with DBT/CBT and mindfulness.

I have worked with clients who have had issues with substance use, depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosocial stressors, etc. I also currently work with the LGBTQ community which is awesome! I am all about client self determination and acting as a sounding board for my clients.

I understand that it takes a lot to participate in therapy with a complete stranger and let me first commend you on doing so and letting me take the journey with you. I am here to strengthen you and validate your feelings on matters.
